Monetary Donations

We received generous donations from individuals thought the Thrivent Choice Dollar Program, from Debra Davis, Macria Mills, Otterbox employees through OtterCares (Melanie Sanchez and Peggy Massery), Those using the MyNeighbor Card Program, those who made donation through Facebook (Network for Good), EcoLab, and many others who dropped in to make their donation.
Gerald Bartley made a donation to cover the cost of the repair needed to fix our Prep Table. Thank you Gerald for helping take care of a very critical problem! We were also grateful to receive proceeds from our Gift Wrapping Party at The Right Card in December, Friendship Forces, Battelle Always Giving, Jason Speciner/ Financial Planning Fort Collins, Benevity and Watchdog Automotive/ Flingin Pots. We also received proceeds from Mountain Avenue Market for being Charity of the Month, a donation from Shepard of the Hills Church and Mary of Magdala. Compass Middle School did a fundraiser at FoCo Cafe in December raising funds and donating countless items for our outdoor resources.
FoCo Cafe also was granted $2,000 from Woodward Charitable Trust for our Kids Feeding Kids Summer Breakfast Program, and received a donation from John and Becky Becker Charitable Fund with Schwab Charitable.
Nutrien has gifted FoCo Cafe with the much need and long sought after funds to install a walk-in refrigerator. We will have it install by the end of the month! The Denver Gay Men’s Chorus invited us to be a benefiting Non-profit at the recent concert, where we had a blast and raised over $600! We also catered for the group of 75 with tasty and healthy food from FoCo Cafe!
In January, many King Soopers shoppers used their reloadable cards to benefit FoCo Cafe and we received a generous check for $278.19!

FoCo Cafe received a major increase in financial gifts from many individuals and businesses through both the Colorado Gives website and PayPal for our Sustaining Membership Campaign. Thank you to these thoughtful donors to help Save the FoCo Cafe! Check out our Sustaining membership and join today!

In-Kind Donations

FoCo Cafe received generous gifts of large amounts of pumpkins and melons from Lori Rock and Patrick Crotzer and the Fort Collins Rescue Mission. Liberty Hill Farms donated hundreds of pounds of fresh, local, free range lean beef to use in our soups. Paul Wood Florist along with our wonderful volunteer Wanda, have gifted the Cafe with flowers for our tables on a daily basis.

Many made an impact through donations of needed items! We received weekly donations of high-value food items from Trader Joe’s and Ginger and Baker; breads from Panera Bread and many items for The Giving Tree, Kindness Cupboard, FoCo Freedge, Warm Wishes Scarf Project, and outdoor Library from Kittle Real Estate and other community members!

We are so grateful for these in- kind donations that help supplement food and other for not only the cafe but the whole community through our outdoor resources!
